(Ray Kroc passed away in 1984) In 1961, and after being frustrated with the McDonald brothers for not wanting to expand, Ray Kroc bought the McDonalds corporation. Implementing the concept of an assembly line, he created a new kind of fast food. He also revolutionized the art of franchising, setting a strict set of guidelines on how fast food was made. Now, even today, one can, for a fee, go and invest in the McDonalds franchise and be a franchise operator. We see the results of this all over the world. You can't find too many towns and cities with at least one McDonalds somewhere.

Now, let's take a look at what an online home business franchise is. It begins with a person or group of people who develop a successful online business. They, then develop a set of strict guidelines that are followed. Then, for a fee, (much smaller than the fee you have to pay to be a franchise operator for McDonalds) you can invest in this system and be a franchise operator. The big difference, though, in the failure or success of this franchise is in the system. If is developed well, you not only have the choice of being a franchise operator, but you can be the franchise owner! What's the difference? Well, if you're really lazy, then being a franchise operator might be for you. But, if your determined and willing to invest a little of yourself, then you can turn being just an operator into being an owner where you can get your own franchise operators. This, in turn, allows you to make residual income off all of your franchise operators.

This truly is the most crucial factor to being successful in either a home business, work at home, or online home business franchise. You have to look for an opportunity to, not only make money now, but keep making residual income month after month. If the home business, work at home, or online home business franchise doesn't offer a way to make residual income, then likely you've found the ones that don't really work, or they are just a scam!
